How to access industry members belonging to a certain product class or other criterion:

• Find the SIC or NAICS classification numbers.
  • NAICS: http://www.naics.com/
• Go to FISonline (database) to enter the SIC or NAICS.
  • Click on “Advanced Search”.
  • Under “General” enter SIC or NAICS (primary or any).
    • Example: 334290 (NAICS-primary for smoke detectors manufacturing).
      • Search results: 50.
      • NAICS and keyword smoke: 0.
    • Example: NAICS-any (722213) and business (ice cream): 1 (TCBY).
• Directory of Corporate Affiliations
  • Covers major U.S. and international public and private businesses—more than 180,000 companies.
