Concert Series Program Notes
by Julius Zsako, Ph.D.

The International Chamber Music Festival Concert Series is a longstanding tradition at Seton Hall. Each year, four or five chamber music groups, coming from different parts of the world, perform at the University for an enthusiastic public drawn from the university and the community at large. Most recently, groups have come from Canada and South America, and from most European countries.

A key ingredient of the International Chamber Music Festival concerts are the program notes which, for many years, have been authored by the Festival's organizer, Dr. Julius Zsako. Meticulously researched and beautifully written, these notes add tremendously to the listener's experience.

Over the years, Dr. Zsako's program notes have grown into a valuable publication on chamber music in which hundreds of works, some well-known and others rarely performed are thoughtfully discussed. These program notes can be found on this web page.
