Where do I obtain and run a library database on CD-ROM?
Databases on CD-ROM are kept behind the Reserve Desk (also called the Circulation Desk).  To run a CD-ROM disk, go into the reference area.  Look for the white Gateway workstation that faces the glass that surrounds the Circulation Desk.  Click on the range of the alphabet icon (for example, “K-Q”).  Push the button on the right side of the computer to open the CD-ROM drive. Insert the CD-ROM.  Press the button to close the drive.  At this point the drum should run.  For assistance on getting the disk to run, ask for the student IT lab assistants for help.  If there is no lab assistant, and for help with searching the database, go to the reference desk.
