Academic Universe
Covers U.S. and International news from newspapers and wire services. Updated daily. Includes full-text of the New York Times. Also includes business information, medical and health topics and law reviews, federal case law, U.S. Code and state legal research. Most sources are available full-text.

BPubs.com  Business Publications Search Engine. This search engine gives access to publications from government agencies, business zines and publications of consulting companies. All publications available free of charge

The Media and Communication Studies Site MCS 
British based gateway to Internet resources in communications and media. Comprehensive coverage of many topics in communications including gender, ethnicity and class issues. Also covers non-verbal communication. 

E-Books

National Academy Press 
The NAP offers cutting-edge electronic books on a wide range of topics. Reports issued by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council are included. 

netLibrary
This service offers access to a library of eBooks in a wide range of subject areas including business, health and wellness, education, and psychology. Although you can use some netLibrary features without logging in, to check out eBooks or access your account from outside your library, you must create a user account and log in to netLibrary.

Credo Reference (formerly Xreferplus) is an online reference library that provides access to 150 electronic reference books. It includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri and books of quotations in range of subject-areas covering everything from art to accountancy and literature to law.

This site from the University of Pennsylvania provides more than 14,000 English books free in various formats. Books may be searched by subject.
