Guidelines for Artists Proposing Artworks for Exhibition

To propose work for exhibition at the Walsh Gallery, please submit the following:

  • Between six to twenty images on 35mm color slides or jpegs on CD-R, labeled with the artist’s name, title, medium and dimensions. Label slides with an arrow to indicate the top of the work.
  • Resume or c.v.
  • Artist statement
  • Self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient postage for return of materials
  • A cover letter that addresses your specific expectations from the Walsh Gallery (i.e. exhibition, gift or purchase, inclusion in our registry)

Please note the review process may take up to 8-10 weeks. If there is interest in your work, the gallery may keep your materials longer. However, you will be contacted directly if this is the case.

In no instances will the gallery provide an appraisal or monetary evaluation of art or artifacts.
