Artists Proposing Works for Exhibition
The Walsh Gallery is always on the lookout for artwork for inclusion in future shows. If you would like to submit your work for consideration, please follow the guidelines carefully. Failure to comply with these directions will prohibit your work from being reviewed by the staff. Please note that due to the large number of submissions received, it may take up to four months from receipt of your package for a review to take place. You must submit your package with sufficient return postage, or it will not be returned under any circumstances.

Before you submit please take the time to do the following:

  • Check our mission to see if your work falls within the parameters of what we exhibit. See http://library.shu.edu/gallery/mission.htm for details.
  • Check the exhibition calendar to see if your work might fit into the scope of upcoming exhibitions. See http://library.shu.edu/gallery/calendar2007-08.htm for details.
  • Do you have specific requirements with regard to lighting, scale, technology, etc. that might prohibit your work from being shown in the gallery? Please contact the Walsh Gallery at brasilje@shu.edu to inquire about possible limitations before you submit.
  • Please take a moment to check our past exhibitions to see if your work is a good fit for our vision. http://library.shu.edu/gallery/past.htm.

Thank you in advance for your interest in the Walsh Gallery.
