September 10 - October 26, 2008
Opening Reception - Wed. September 10, 5 - 8pm

Professor Mimi Weinberg of The College of Arts and Sciences based the paintings in this exhibition on what is known of the life of Babatha, a woman living on the shores of the Dead Sea between 107 and 134 C.E. The paintings in this exhibition are created in response to Professor Weinberg' study of Babatha' Archive, visit to Petra and participation in the archaeological digs at Ein Gedi.
