Search here for scholarships, education mentors, and internships. http://www.asanet.org - An online database of thousands of professional organizations across the United States. Some services are free, while others require membership and a fee.-------asanet.org is only for sociology. http://www.erieri.com - The Economics Research Institute is a research organization that provides salary, compensation, and benefits statistics information. It is designed to inform, entertain, and to provide tools to master the art of success.--- http://www.thepavement.com - The Pavement is a site for young adults with 0 to 5 years of work experience. The site provides a national database of entry level and early career job opportunities.-----change description to…is a site for individuals with less than five years of work experience…. http://www.wetfeet.com - This site offers advice and information on many facets of getting and holding a job, including the ability to research careers and companies as well as building a network of contacts in various industries. http://www.hoovers.com - This is primarily a subscription site, but is does have decent amounts of free information about 14,000 US Corporations in its capsules section. http://www.monstermoving.com - This site allows people to search for new housing (to rent, or to buy) around the country. This site also has web-based tool to help people manage the logistics and costs of moving to a new location. http://www.homefair.com/homefair/cmr/salcalc.html or http://www.homestore.com for the main site. This web-based application is a salary calculator that allows one to compare base salaries in different cities to the relative costs of living in those cities. As a result one can see if one has to earn more or less in order to maintain the same standard of living in a different area. VII.
