Seton Hall University & New Jersey Catholic History Lecture Series

We proudly announce the second year of special lectures designed to honor the memory of Msgr. William Noé Field, M.A., M.L.S. (1915-2000), beloved former University Archivist whose association and dedication to Seton Hall University spanned eight event-filled decades. In the spirit of his vision, a total of five lectures will be delivered throughout the Spring 2002 semester in order to better inform interested individuals on the prolific, exhilarating, and just plain fascinating history that has made up the Seton Hall and Catholic New Jersey experience over the past 145 years. “A History of the New Jersey Catholic Historical Records Commission”

A presentation by Joseph Mahoney, Ph.D. Director – New Jersey Catholic Historical Records Commission and Msgr. Francis Seymour, Archivist – Archdiocese of Newark.


This program will be held in Beck Rooms A & B, located on the first floor of the Walsh Library. There is no admission fee, and the entire university community along with the general public are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will also be served.
