New Acquisitions Exhibit at the Msgr. William Noé Field Archives & Special Collections Center

In honor of our generous donors, the Msgr. William Noé Field Archives & Special Collections Center proudly announces a newly created display showcasing some of our recently acquired objects of interest which can be viewed at our display area located on the first floor of the Walsh Library building. This exhibit created through the efforts of Student Worker Julia Chiu and Archival Assistant Kate Dodds explores the wide variety of material documentation which reflect our collecting focus as the Catholic University of New Jersey and our connection with the Archdiocese of Newark. Included are early 1900s postcard views of the school campus, a 1920s football poster when Seton Hall had a gridiron team and were known as the “White and Blue,” an early R.O.T.C. uniform jacket, and various prime examples of sick call boxes, altar stones, and papers from the collection of Msgr. George Pogany to name a few. This collection of material is designed to serve as a visual introduction to the historical scholarship services we provide and a showcase for your material support which is needed for us to grow and help our research community in turn. For more information on this exhibit, and how to donate materials to our collection please call us at (973) 761-9476. Thank you in advance for your interest!
