 APRIL 5 God's Mercy for Jesus' Sake |
PRAYER. Ever gracious Savior, Your sacrifice on the Cross has redeemed the world and reconciled us to the Father. Have mercy on me. |

REMEMBER me, O Lord, when You come into Your Kingdom"
(Lk 23:42). Such was the prayer of the penitent
thief on the cross, such must be our prayer. Who can
do us any good but He?
We can say nothing to God in defense of ourselves but merely beg Him to bear us in mind in mercy, for His Son's sake. Even though we have served Him from our youth up, yet, at the very best, how much have we left undone, how much done, which ought to be otherwise! |
