PRAYER. Ever-loving Jesus, You have given Your Church Your Body and Blood as nourishment for our souls. Do not let me ever take this great gift for granted. |

BEFORE He went away, Jesus completed
His work, bequeathing to us a special
Mode of approaching Him, a Holy Mystery,
in which we receive that Heavenly
Body, which is the life of all that believe.
This is the Blessed Sacrament.
Feasting upon the Sacrifice, we may be "partakers of the Divine Nature" and the "exceeding great promises" (2 Pt 1:4) which are made to those who partake of it. |
