The University Library offers remote (off-campus) access to selected academic databases. You may use your Seton Hall e-mail account name and password to access most of the subscription databases. Also, you may click here by using your Seton Hall e-mail account and password to obtain separate IDs and passwords that are required by certain databases and journals. For on campus access, you need an email account to get into the network which will then allow you to access the databases without additional passwords. For off-campus access go to the databases page, and select from the off-campus options. Having Trouble with Your E-Mail or Need an Account? If you are having problems, call the Help! Desk at 973-275-2222 or just dial 2222 on campus. You can also stop by Computing Services in Corrigan Hall, Room #23 (basement). They are open Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. , Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Summer), 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. (Fall) and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you need to apply for an account, a clerk will ask to see your SHU ID card and about two days later you will have an e-mail account. Painless. This account is very important since it allows you more access to the various University Library academic databases through our proxy server. If you have any problems, please send your e-mail to Library@shu.edu. We strongly encourage you to apply for your Seton Hall e-mail account and password!
