Guidelines for Submitting Materials to be Scanned for the Seton Hall Faculty Publication Database:
In person
- Print out and fill
in the submission
form.
- Bring a copy of the form, and a copy of your article(s) or conference paper(s), to the Administrative area on the Second Floor of the University Library. Please note that University Library will not scan books or book chapters.
- Please make sure that all photocopy pages are free of tracks such as black
margins, specks, or a center stripe. These tracks are magnified when scanned
and look unprofessional. If an article or document is on a disk, submit only the
floppy.
- Submit all material on single-sided pages in 8.5" x 11" size since larger page sizes cannot be scanned.
- Submit materials clipped together, not stapled, since staples must be removed before scanning and the staple holes show when scanned.
Online
- Click on the online submission form.
- From the scrollbar, select the type of publication: journal article, book chapter, book or conference chapter.
- Fill out the form, using the sample form as a guideline.
- If your publication is already available as an online document, please include its URL.
- Submit the form by clicking on the submit button.
