Audio-Visual Perspectives
The twenty-first century has
already been acclaimed as period where rapid technological advances make the
transmission and dissemination of information more ubiquitous than ever
before. In light of historical preservation potentials inherent, the need to
capture and present information (especially graphic representations) has
become both easier and more immediate in approach. The visual history of
Setonia and related subject areas are being presented in this manner over
time and through different avenues of expression. Various materials from our
holdings will be copied through digital conversion, thorough transcriptions
or alternate display options taken from original paper, photograph, audio,
film or another format that has been updated for wider reference purposes.
Detailed examples will be forthcoming in the days ahead, but for now the
