	Founded - 1856
	Location - South Orange, New Jersey (Campus located in Madison, New Jersey from 1856-1860)
	School Colors - Blue and White
	School Motto - "Hazard Zit Forward" (English-Greek combination term meaning: "Whatever the Hazard/Trouble, Yet Forward")
	School Nickname - Pirates (Adopted in 1931 when it was used by a Worcester (MA) sportswriter to describe the Seton Hall College baseball team who opposed Holy Cross College that same year)

Archdiocese of Newark

	Established - 1853
	Geographical Boundaries - Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union Counties
	Named an Archdiocese - 1937 (Camden and Paterson were named separate sees that same year)
