Keyword - SEARCH STRATEGIES

Examples:

1. You are searching for information about high schools in New Jersey

  • Select  Keyword
  • To find items on this subject, type in the following search:  
     
    "high schools" Jersey

    This search will look for records with the phrase "high schools" and the word jersey (Note: there is no need to type in "new jersey" as a phrase )

2. You are giving a seminar on theology and ethics.

  • Select  Keyword
  • To find items on this subject, type in the following search:  
     
    +theolog?   +ethic?  

    This search will look for records with the words theology, theological, etc. and combine them with ethics, ethical, and so on

    Note: In keyword searching, always remember to place a "+" sign in front of a search term if you want to be certain it is included in the search.
