7. Documents from the Women's Liberation Movement
This online archival collection contains materials about aspects of the Women's Liberation Movement in the United States, particularly during the late 1960's and early 1970's. "Items range from radical theoretical writings to humourous plays to the minutes of an actual grassroots group."

8. Early modern women database
This database provides links to World Wide Web resources useful for the study of women in early modern Europe and the Americas. It focuses on the period ca. 1500 to ca. 1800. Resources have been selected for their scholarly value by librarians on the Arts and Humanities Team of the University of Maryland Libraries. Materials range from bibliographic databases to full-text resources, images, and sound recordings. Most of the resources linked here are free. Some require a license for access.

This international organization focuses on female human rights. It supports issues as diverse as literacy, domestic violence, economic autonomy, and the international trafficking of women, among others.

14. Magazines and Newsletters on the Web (Women-focused)
Alphabetical list of links to women-related magazines with a Web presence. "Web pages of periodicals vary considerably. 15. Medieval Feminist Index
Database covering journal articles (from 350+ journals), book reviews, and essays in books about women, sexuality, and gender during the Middle Ages (450-1500 AD). Geographic coverage includes Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Currently contains 1995 and 1996 items; work on 1997 and on previous years is ongoing. Language coverage includes English, French, and German, with Spanish and Italian to be added in the future. The database currently contains more than 2500 records.

NOW's Web page contains issues of the National NOW Times, information on key issues (e.g., economic equity), NOW history, and links to feminist, government, and political sites on the Web.

17. The National Partnership for Women & Families
The National Partnership for Women & Families is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that uses public education and advocacy to promote fairness in the workplace, quality health care, and policies that help women and men meet the dual demands of work and family.

18. National Women's History Project
Organization promoting gender equity through education regarding the accomplishments of women. Clearinghouse for women's history resources and programming for National Women's History Month. Links to women's studies Web sites in aviation, athletics, art and music, math and science, war and peace, women's rights, and other subject areas.

24. ViVa: A Bibliography of Women's History in Historical and Women’s Studies Journals
"ViVa is a current bibliography of articles about women's and gender history. Articles published in English, French, German and Dutch are selected from more than eighty European, American and Indian Journals. ViVa is short for Vrouwengeschiedenis in het Vaktijdschrift, which is Dutch for "Women's history in scholarly periodicals."

25. Votes for Women, 1848-1921
Selections from the National American Woman Suffrage Association Collection, 1848-1921, from the Library of Congress' Rare Book and Special Collections Division. This collection consists of 167 books, pamphlets, and other artifacts documenting the suffrage campaign.

This site provides access to more than 200 digitized books and manuscripts. It is part of the Open Collections Program at Harvard University.
