Housing

As of March 19th, 2020, New Jersey Governor issued Executive Order 106, suspending evictions throughout the state. This executive order suspends all eviction proceedings and issues an “eviction moratorium” in which no tenant may be removed from his or her home. However, once courts reopen landlords will be able to pursue eviction proceedings. This page provides helpful resources in finding emergency shelter, search for housing and housing assistance, and receiving housing foreclosure counseling. (Español).
