Below are some mental health resources found throughout NJ and Hudson county that utilizes different strategies to help you achieve your mental health goals. And, as we move beyond COVID-19, we hope that these resources will continue to help you in the future.

Mental Health Resources

NJ Statewide:

State of New Jersey Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services 

Phone: 1-844-276-2777 for information on addiction treatments in NJ state. 
Provides a searchable directory for various alcohol and drug abuse treatment and programs in NJ state. There are also different hotlines listed right on the website for ease of access. Has a translate option at the top of the page.

Treats substance use disorders using an integrated behavioral approach to overcoming addiction. Strategies that they employ are physical exercise, individual, group, and family therapy. Also specializes in adolescent addiction.

Contains information and phone numbers on domestic violence programs throughout NJ. Also provides legal, intervention, housing, and culturally-sensitive - specifically religious services. 

NJ Coalition against Sexual Assault

Provides a hotline, short-term individual and group therapy, and support for legal proceedings including forensic exam and court appearances. Group will also refer to longer-term counseling and has many different language support.

Provides immediate assistance, support groups, and individual counseling for women affected by domestic violence. Staff are bilingual. Other resources include legal aide, housing, and interventions. Office is open M-F from 9am-5pm, no appointments needed.

Urgent care center for adults 18yrs or older who are experiencing a mental health crisis or worsening mental health disorder. Utilizes a 3-step process to match individuals with appropriate referrals and services. Language assistance and bilingual Spanish-speaking staff on site. Mentions financial assistance.
