Seton Hall University Libraries is committed to maintaining an accessible website that meets the “Level AA” conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
We use the Site Improve accessibility evaluation tool, and manual link-checks, to evaluate and continuously improve our current website. We work with our vendors to encourage them to do the same.
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you have any questions, suggestions, or complaints, feel free to Contact Us.
Through our https://library.shu.edu webpages, Seton Hall University Libraries provides links and access to third parties, such as database vendors, or links that provide educational content.
Ideally, our webpages would conform if accessibility support existed for (all of) the resource(s) used on our website.
We strive to conform to WCAG 2.0 at level AA, and when we are informed of accessibility issues, we contact the third parties to inform them of the issue and work with them to achieve compliance. If a vendor or third party will not comply, we may remove them from our collection. However, some library subscriptions are essential to accreditation, so we must subscribe.
