Walsh Library subscribes to history, literature and social sciences databases that will be useful for your research. Almost all of them provide access to full-text journals. - JSTORInterdisciplinary database that contain the full run of academic journals. Examples: Victorian Studies, Victorian Poetry.
- Project Muse Collection This link opens in a new windowProvides access to the full text of over 100 scholarly journals in the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, and many others. Coverage for selected Project MUSE titles begins with volumes as early as 1993.
- Periodicals Archives OnlineArchive of hundreds of digitised journals published in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Access to more than 200 years of scholarship
- Historical AbstractsThe database provides access to over 2,000 journals, and 20,000 new citations are added every year. Historical Abstracts also features partial full-text capability accessible through the JSTOR database available through the Seton Hall University Libraries.
- MLA International Bibliography (EBSCO Publishing)(A&I) This link opens in a new windowOffers a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920's and contains over 2.3 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series and 1,000 book publishers. The indexed materials coverage is international and includes almost 60 titles from J-STOR’s language and literature collection as well as links to full text.
