Illness and Literature CORE 3370/ENGLS 3412: Request Materials from Other Libraries

Using Interlibrary loan

Request a book or journal article from another library Interlibrary loan is a service that allows you to request books, journal articles and other circulating materials from academic and research libraries.

Happily our book and article requests are combined on one single page.

  • You will first need to select whether you are looking for a book or an article.
  • The "BOOK" option will take you to EZ Borrow (Palci) - we suggest using the advanced search for more search options.
  • The "ARTICLE" option will take you to ILLiad. The first time you use it, you will need to create an account.  Once you have created an account, you can use the "LinkSource" button on many databases to automatically populate the request form.

Important note:  Most eBooks cannot be loaned among libraries, but many will loan individual chapters.
