Mission

Our Mission

The Monsignor William Noé Field Archives & Special Collections Center serves as the official repository for materials documenting the Seton Hall University community and our parent organization, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. We exist to identify, actively collect, and preserve archival materials that support the Catholic educational mission of Seton Hall University, and to offer equal access and research assistance to the community.

The Center carries out its unique mission on behalf of the entire Seton Hall University community under the authority of Administrative Announcement 94.04 (February, 1994).
