  • All reproduction requests are subject to review by our staff.
  • The Archives and Special Collections Center reserves the right to revise or refuse an order due to preservation concerns or time constraints.
  • Some materials may be too fragile to scan; where possible, a digital photograph may be substituted.
  • Researchers must identify and select all material for duplication.
  • All reproductions (regardless of format or subject matter) are intended for readers' individual scholarly use.
  • Copies of material housed in the Archives and Special Collections Center should not be deposited in other library collections or institutions.
  • In some cases, the Archives and Special Collections Center may require the return of the copies when the need for their use has ended.

Permissions and Copyright

The Archives and Special Collections Center offers resources for educational purposes. We do not require that users request permission from our Center to quote from or reproduce material for personal or classroom use; however, users are requested to provide proper citation for published work(s).

The Archives and Special Collections Center requests that researchers obtain permission to reproduce any materials or collection content for publication. Any materials reproduced in a publication must be properly cited and accompanied by a completed Permission to Publish contract.
