Mobile devices such as cell phones, smart phones, tablets and pagers are permitted in the University Library. However, they must be used in a way that avoids disturbing other library users.
Mobile devices must be turned to silent or vibrate mode. Any conversation on a mobile device should be held in an area where it will not disturb or distract others.
Conversations on mobile devices are not permitted in the Walsh Library’s 2nd floor silent study room or on the 3rd or 4th floors, which are silent floors.
