Google Patents

Google Patents is a search engine from Google that indexes patents and patent applications from a variety of patent offices, including the United States Patent and Trademark Office, European Patent Office, and World Intellectual Property Organization. These documents include the entire collection of granted patents and published patent applications from each database. US patent documents date back to 1790, EPO and WIPO to 1978. All 8 million U.S. patents have been put in the database. Google Patents includes over 120 million patent publications from 100+ patent offices around the world.
