English 1201 Research Guide

English 1201 Instruction Module

Hello, and welcome to the English 1201 Library Instruction Module. The following videos and quizzes are available for instructors who would like to opt out of in-person library instruction or who would like to provide their students with additional resources.

For English 1201, there are six videos. After each video is a short 1-3 question quiz. All videos have captions and transcripts.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Maria Barca (maria.barca@shu.edu).

For faculty interested in using the modules, please fill out the short form in "FOR FACULTY: Instruction Request Form" tab to the left. This will let the Libraries know that you're opting for the modules and will tell us if you are applying a due date to them.

Faculty, please note that the last day to have your students submit the modules is April 29th. This will allow for librarians to review and grade quizzes.
