The R manuals created by CRAN on Debian Linux. The manuals are nearly identical on all platforms including MacOS, Windows, and Linux with subtle differences. The manuals are always updated to match the latest version of R released, the current patched released version of R, and the upcoming R versions in development by CRAN.
The manuals provided by CRAN are:
- "An Introduction to R"the document provides a basic introduction to the R language and how to perform statistical analysis and visualizations.
- "R Data Import/Export"the document demonstrates how to import and export files in R or packages.
- "Writing R Extensions"the documentation of the language useful when programming R functions.
