Scholarly profiles or scholar profiles are a great way to showcase your academic or scholarly output. There are a multitude of platforms and commercial profiles that exist which can help lead to better reach for your works. Sometimes these profiles can even generate statistics or other data for your academic output.
Building out your presence in the academic environment also means you typically want to ensure your work is seen as your work, this is where identifiers can come into play. A very popular one is ORCID, check out our research guide on ORCID for more in-depth information on this great persistent identifier!
For Seton Hall faculty, the University uses Faculty Success by Watermark (formerly known as Digital Measures) for web profiles and rank and tenure workflows. While the Library does not administer the platform, there are an abundance of workflows to import (or export!) your information from Faculty Success to a variety of scholarly profiles.
