Library Services & Support due to COVID-19

Synchronous Instruction

We can hold synchronous library instruction classes via Microsoft Teams and Blackboard Collaborate. As a back-up, we can also use the free version of Zoom, but there is a limit of a 40 minute session when using the free version of Zoom.*

*Please keep in mind that coordinating classes with multiple participants via Microsoft Teams and Zoom can present technical challenges for both instructors and students, including disruption to internet connectivity.

Asynchronous Instruction

We can develop online course guides to support student research. Please review our list of Subject Guides to see what we have already created. We would be happy to adapt or build upon any of this content to develop something new to support your research assignment(s).

Sample online course guides:

We can also create simple video web tutorials.

To request the creation of a course guide or a video tutorial, please submit a description of your request and any relevant course materials such as assignments and / or syllabi to brooke.duffy@shu.edu.
