Adding Research Outputs

Automated Searches can be toggled on by a user with a profile. This is your Personal screen.

To toggle these on, Log In to Pure then click EDIT PROFILE.

Then use the sidebar under EDIT and click to AUTOMATED SEARCH. Here you may toggle on as many options as you would like. Don't forget to hit save at the bottom of this dialog box to save and dismiss the dialog box. If you would like to be notified of an automated search research output candidate, then you may click the option to Inform you by email.

Options for Automated Searches on individual profiles include:

  • Digital Commons
  • ORCID
  • Scopus
  • Mendeley
  • Embase
  • PubMed
  • ArXiv.org
  • CiNii
  • SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS)
  • Espacenet Patent Search

Some of these may prompt for more identifiers or credentials in order to properly identify your identity.

New research outputs may take 4-6 weeks post- date of publication to be indexed then displayed on any given profile.

It is advised to wait 4-6 weeks before adding a manual entry of a research output to avoid duplication of content. If you would like to add content on your own, then please follow the steps below. 

  1. Navigate to the Personal screen. click the blue Add Content in the top right corner.
  2. Select Research Output type.
  3. Follow submission form and complete the required fields.
  4. Click the blue Save button at the bottom of the dialog box to successfully add the new research output.
