Requesting Articles

To request articles or book chapters, use Rapido Discovery. Search for and request known items using the article title, publication title, author, or some combination of those details; ISBN or ISSN; or search broadly to discover unknown items using keywords or topical search terms.

Most article requests are filled within 24 hours through consortiums and a program we use called RAPIDILL. For RAPIDILL to process article requests you MUST provide the journal’s ISSN. If you do not, it will be bounced back to us to complete and sent out again. This will delay the processing time for RAPID articles. You can find a journal’s ISSN using a search engine.

If the article is not available through RAPID we might able to request it from other libraries. This may increase the processing time.
